Didebashvili, Mamuka

Didebashvili Mamuka – painter, was born in Tbilisi, Georgia, in 1968. In 1983 he graduated from Nikoladze Art College and in 1989 graduated from the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts. Since his studying at the academy he has participated in art exhibitions in Georgia as well as abroad. He has attracted public interest ever since his first appearance and has made himself memorable through his consistently original artwork. His paintings which are marked by special form of spirituality and refined taste carry a great charge yet are in fact accomplished through calm and balanced compositional resolution. Didebashvili cultivates his very own artistic worlds in which a human being always plays the central role. Didebashvili emphasizes those features and habits of humankind which are basic and definable for him.
