Kravchenko, Aleksey

Aleksey Kravchenko – a Russian painter, graphic artist and illustrator, born in 1889, graduate of the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. In 1925 at the International Exhibition of Decorative Art in Paris Kravchenko won Grand Prix award. In 1927 his personal exhibition was held in Paris. In 1929 Kravchenko was assigned to arrange Soviet modern art section at the International exhibition of art and industry in New-York. His works are presented at the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow and the Russian Museum in Saint-Petersburg.
