Makovsky, Konstantin

Konstantin Makovsky – a 19th century Russian painter and portraitist, graduate of the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture and the Saint-Petersburg Imperial Academy of Arts. From 1880s he lived in Paris. His paintings were presented at a number of world exhibitions. Makovsky’s works are presented at the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow, the Russian Museum in Saint-Petersburg and many other collections in Russia and abroad.
