Kolesnikov, Stepan

Stepan Kolesnikov (Kolesnikov-Odessky) – a painter, born in Russian Empire in 1879, graduate of the Saint-Petersburg Imperial Academy of Arts. As a young artist he had won a lot of artistic contests. From 1920 Kolesnikov lived in Belgrade where he taught at the Academy of Arts. His exhibitions were held in Saint-Petersburg, Moscow, Belgrade, Berlin, Prague, Paris, Brussels, and Odessa. Kolesnikov’s works are presented at museums of former Soviet countries and Europe.
