Frank Breidenbruch is an artist as we meet them in the classic period of modern arts: He philosophizes about the first and the last reasons of our existence and illustrates his thoughts, or he follows his inspirations and bases them, already during the procedure of realization, on theoretical items. For him creation and reflection go close together, he knows the meaning of what he does or wants to do, but whatever occurs unexpectedly and by coincidence is welcome and integrated without effort in his work revolving around the essential.

In 2017 it is celebrated the 100th anniversary of the October Revolution in Russia. Dramatic political and social changes associated with this historic event inevitably had its reflection in art. At that time one of the most famous phenomena of world culture - Russian avant-garde – was being formed.

Paolo Cavallo born in La Spezia in 1944 lives and works between Ortonovo, Carrara and Pietrasanta. Sculptor, painter, graphic artist and ceramist, he has always preached the direct relationship with the clients of his works often dedicated to sacred themes.

Present in numerous private collections, both in Italy and abroad, he has made numerous public monuments including Monumento a San Francesco d'Assisi (graveyard of the Sanctuary of Gratitude), the ceramic Via Crucis at the Chiesa della Perticata (Carrara, MS ), the marble altar in the Church of Mercy of Massa.

Frank Breidenbruch is a German painter and sculptor. He was born in Wuppertal on 31 January 31st, 1963. From 1982 to 1985 he apprenticed himself as a stone cutter and sculptor, and worked as a sculptor in his native city. In 1988 he travelled to Carrara and settled there in 2002.
